We’re thrilled to be working in partnership with The Boys’ Brigade and to be able to encourage even more young people to experience outdoor adventures.
We approached The Boys’ Brigade after analysing the groups who were booking PGL residentials, which showed that the BB were regular visitors to our centres. So we decided to see if there was any opportunity to ‘formalise’ our relationship and for the BB to come on board as one of PGL’s official group partners, joining the likes of Girlguiding (a partner for almost a decade), The Girls’ Brigade and the Volunteer Police Cadets.
At PGL, we’re passionate about enriching young people’s lives and we know that the many uniform groups who stay with us every year really value being able to build confidence, improve teamwork and experience the challenges that new adventures bring.
Through our new partnership, there’s never been a better time for BB members to experience an adventure where young people can push their limits, discover skills they didn’t know they had and try something new in inspiring surroundings.
Fantastic staff, always enthusiastic. My young people absolutely love PGL – it’s one of the main things they look forward to in the year! They have never let us down – quality activities, quality food and accommodation and brilliant staff – all organised for you! What’s not to like!”

Our residential centres offer a mix of adrenaline-fuelled activities for groups of 7–17-year-olds, designed to inspire, motivate and bring out the best. For many, it’s the start of a new journey. So whether you’re looking to bring a small group, organise a regional gathering or enjoy sole use of a whole centre for an exclusive BB Takeover weekend, we’re right here to give you all the support you need.

There are a wide range of organisations running outdoor and residential centres across the country, including some Battalions/Districts. We include a list of sites in our Directory (see page 34), but here are a few more examples of organisations we know BB groups already use:
Whether it’s a country manor in acres of grounds or a campsite on the beach, SU have a range of residential options.
