A new series of e-learning modules for leaders were introduced three years ago as part of our strategy to support and resource leaders to continually develop their skills and refresh their knowledge to ensure we offer a safe and caring environment for children and young people. We’ve had a very positive response overall to the development of e-learning. Around 1,600 leaders have completed short evaluations of the modules which have highlighted:

• 95% found the modules easy to use.
• 93% would recommend BB e-learning to others.
• 83% felt more confident in their role after completing the modules.

I found the e-learning modules informative. Having coming back into BB after a break of around 11 years these modules were very helpful for my return.”

Unfortunately around 200 who did not complete the mandatory Safeguarding and Managing Risk modules, even after a number of reminders, have had their membership withdrawn. .
