The Trustees reflected on the feedback both from leaders and also external partners, deciding not to share the proposed logo any further at this time, but continue the conversations with leaders on the wider questions and the challenges around our brand identity, before making any further proposals.
Any future proposals on our visual brand would only be adopted following further consultation with, and the endorsement of, registered leaders, in order to allow as many leaders as possible have the opportunity to be involved. Having listened carefully to the views of many leaders, separate conversations will also take place on how we strengthen the identity of our work with girls and young women.
As a membership organisation it is important that we are able to constructively discuss challenging topics like this, as we look to build a stronger Brigade and reach out to those whom we aren’t reaching at the moment.
